What is the difference?
Yuka focuses on scanning products and explaining its ratings. It also covers cosmetics. FoodSussed combines a food diary with an ingredient-based processing estimate. That difference matters if you want to keep a daily record of calories and protein as well as check a label while shopping.
FoodSussed shows the ingredients behind its estimated level. You can check the text read from the pack before using it. A missing or unclear ingredient list can limit the result, and the level should not be read as a safety assessment. Yuka uses a different rating method, so the two results are not the same measurement.
Yuka is already on both mobile platforms and has a large established user base. FoodSussed is still preparing its Android release. If an app store download today is essential, check Yuka's current listing. If a browser is suitable, the FoodSussed tracker is available now with an account.
