See FoodSussed

When FoodSussed launches, you can scan a barcode or search for food, track calories and protein, and photograph an ingredients list to see an estimated processing Level 1 to 4 and why. The level describes processing, not health or safety.

FoodSussed includes foods from UK supermarkets including Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's and Morrisons. Coverage varies: a particular product may not be found. Read the catalogue methods and limits.

The Android app is not on Google Play yet. No iOS download is available yet.

What will you be able to do with it?

When FoodSussed launches, you can search or scan the barcode on a food to find a record, then choose a portion for your diary. The diary brings your calories and protein together so you can see the day's numbers in one place. A barcode lookup depends on a matching record; if your pack is missing, you can check its label and use manual entry.

FoodSussed Snap reads an ingredients list from a photo. You can check the text before seeing an estimated processing level and the ingredients behind it. Levels run from 1 to 4. They describe processing and are not a health or safety score. A clear photo and a complete ingredient list matter.

Shopping in the UK

The catalogue includes foods associated with UK retailers, alongside branded and generic foods. It does not guarantee every branch stocks every item or that every barcode is present. Product labels and recipes can change, so check the pack in your hand when the details matter.

The Android listing will be linked when it is available. For an Ireland-focused introduction, see our Ireland app page.
